Rebates and Incentives

Consumer Rebates & Dealer Cash

Now that you have negotiated your sale price, let's talk about rebates and incentives. There are two types of rebates that are available that will help you further lower your bottom line price: factory to consumer and factory to dealer. The most important thing to understand is that rebates come from the factory and not the dealership. These are not a dealership discount.

The factory to consumer rebates and incentives are generally available on the manufacturer's website. Knowing these before negotiating the price will help you make sure that the dealer is not showing these as a dealership discount. You may also qualify for additional rebates such as owner loyalty, college or military. Do your homework and find out all the programs the manufacturer offers to get the most rebates available.

Factory to dealer incentives, sometimes referred to as dealer cash, can prove to be a lot more difficult to find out about. These are not publicly advertised and are rebates paid directly to the dealership. Because they do not have to be disclosed to the customer the dealership can use them to show you additional discounts that you may think are coming from their pocket. They may be simply a flat amount on a specific model or could be based on sales volume.

Why use an auto broker car buying service to help with a new car?

Not sure if there is dealer cash available on a vehicle that the dealer won't tell you about? Still not sure what the difference is between a rebate and a dealership discount? Unlike a car dealership, our interest is not in making profit, but getting you the absolute best possible deal. As an auto broker car buying service we are here to help you find a vehicle that best suits your needs and getting you the best price. We are not limited to a particular brand or the inventory on our lot, we can help you find any year, make or model vehicle. We are also not going to push a specific vehicle due to it having certain incentives. We will help assess your needs and can make recommendations based on what you are looking for. We are not here to sell you a car, but to help you buy one at the best possible price. Give us a call and see how our car buying service can help you change your car buying experience!
• No more going to multiple dealerships.
